I teach in the Politics department at Acadia University. I am also a core faculty member in two interdisciplinary programs: the graduate program in Social and Political Thought, and the undergraduate program in Environmental and Sustainability Studies (ESST). And I am a Research Associate for the Nova Scotia office of the Canadian Center for Policy Alternatives (CCPA-NS).

My research focuses on the intersections of environmental politics, critical theory, political economy, and cultural studies. But I’m willing to write about other stuff, too.

I write really short things on twitter: @andrewbiro. Longer writings are listed on my CV, posted on my academia.edu page, here.
